It has its disadvantages and its advantages. Disadvantages are that it doesnt teach you good habbits for applying the brake when needed(the guy in the vid put his feet down every time he should have been applying brake). Second crashing is a part of what we do and teaches us how to get up and see how much dedication we have. Although i doubt most people that are serious stunting will use it, the device would be popular with recreational riders like dads and their kids. Also i love working with metal etc... and think that the device you made is a good quality design, just wont be liked by the stunting crowd.

It might be helpful for circles, but it really dosen't look all that great for standard wheelies. And the balance point on stand-ups is higher that's why you weren't able to roll one in the video.

ha ha ha ha....that sheeit is too funny.....(the first comment). sounds like something i would tell somebody that came to our ride spot with one of those things rigged to the bike.
people are not going to learn wheelies any faster with that thing.
don't get me wrong, the work is nice; sheeit, maybe you could even make some money off of it.
as for buying one.....*** no, i learned the hard way

Re: Anti-Flip device for fiddy

Looks alright for extremly new people to wheelies..

You got that many aftermarket parts but still need a bar to wheelie? thats sad

Only anti-flip device I used was my feet lol, just jump off the back once you go past balance point

edit: If you are gonna use the thing, i'd say put it up way higher past balance point. Cause with were its at now your never gonna learn balance point with the bike up high.. Instead your being stopped before you can get passed it and sail some nice wheelies..
I'd put it as a saftey device instead of a 'training wheel" device lol

edit: lol
