anyone using this setup? has anyone heard anything bad about it? it looks like the risers are alot taller than any other kit but it seems to be well built.

I have that same exact kit.

Pros: comes with everything, its real tough considering i havent destroyed them yet, and its hella adjustable.

I've only had my bike for a couple days, it has pro tapers on it, I like them. They seem like they can definitely stand up to a beating. I haven't found any downside to them yet.

c-dub i live in Ct when i get a bike we should get together and stunt some time... how much u pay for ur 50?

 

i like the 50stunt bars but its not worth it to me to spend another $70 on them... i can get the pro tapers with my dealership discount pretty cheap

 

Sounds good, I don't have many people to stunt with. I still suck too but I'm learning. The bike was $900 really well hooked up (88 kit, bars, springs, CDI, stunt pegs, HD clutch, street tires, etc.) I paid a little extra to have him drive a couple of hours to meet me (The bike was in Pennsylvania). It's an '02, really clean for the year. Of course I've already put a few new scrapes on it!

not a bad deal... the only thing i dont like is the clamp style. id rather have one piece with a top and bottom. i dotn like how that one has 2 seperate pieces, looks breakable

 

my friend has them, i don't care for them because they are really tall. makes me feel like i'm riding a chopper. probabaly good for big guys though

edit: they are stong though and adjustable which is cool

 

You might look at the BBR kit too. I have it on mine and they are strong as hell and seem to be the right height.

i put those bars on my fiddy just a couple weeks ago, they are pretty badass. very adjustable.

 

well i got these bars and they have made a world of difference. the only bad thing is that the throttle housing cracked when i was tightening them up. im going to check with pro taper and see if they will stand behind them.
