Suspension Upgrades?

Well im fat and i riding my new (stock) on some trails yesterday and i was bottomin out pretty good. I wanna get the ishock non res for the rear my question is what is the best heavy duty springs for the front? Which complements the ishock the best or does it not really matter?

Ps. if adding a pipe and air filter require rejetting?

Re: Suspension Upgrades?

I personally like the applied hd springs, they come with the end caps on them already so no screwing around with trying to get the stockers off. some people dont like them, but I have had no real problems with mine.

yes, adding a filter and pipe, will require you to re-jet. if you have the stock carb, you can probably get away with running 62 jet in there. atleast thats what i did when i added my uni filter. good luck!!

Re: Suspension Upgrades?

i have a tbr pipe and a k&n, just have a 60 main jet, and play with the rest of the settings till it's right. lemme know if you want some help with that, i've been tuning carbs for a looooong time.

btw, we've got a session this sunday on my side of the water, weathers supposed to be nice as hell, you're more than welcome to come check it out, prolly be a few other fiddy's and a bunch of full size bikes.

I have an ishock w/ res and it's pretty stiff. would probably work pretty good for what you are looking for. I also have +1's up front w/ heavy duty springs and delrin bushings... balanced front to back. but you will probably want more up front than that if you're jumping it.
