I bought a Joker big bar kit in the summer and it came with MX bars.... I feel these bars are to f'in wide..... WHats a good bar to replace them with..? BMX bars? Will they work with my joker bar clamp??? PLease give me some opinions...... I like the whole big bar kit...best mod i ever bought...but, bars just feel to wide for me....

 

Just search e-bay you should find somethere any bars should work

will my stock joker bar clamp bite onto the bmx bars? Are they the same diamater as the mx bars that came with the kit?? This is the part that confuses me.....??

 

If you didn't get OVERsize MX bars, then yes, BMX bars will be the same diameter for the clamp. The question will be whether the MX clamp is too WIDE for BMX bars, but I guess you'd have to measure the MX clamp width and measure some BMX bars and see if you have some room.... Hope that helps.

 

They feel like regular size dirtbike bars like on my Rm 125. SO my guess is they are regular size....I will just have to measure my clamp. I believe all my joker throttle and brake perch will go right on there too....I guess i just have to find a set of bmx bars that i like...any suggestions?

Why not trim the ends off of the current bar set?

If they are to wide, I wouldn't see why not?

Make sure theres enough room, for the brake/ect.

 

Trimming the ends off will make grips and the throttle stick out. I know of woods riders cutting 31 inch mx bars down to 26 with a crossbar on them. Just grind through them and MIG weld em togather.

 

how did you get this?...i trimmed down some bars i had on my 110 a while ago..and it moved my grips and throttle in...they only can stick out as far as the bars do...why would you wanna grind through them and mig them back together?...its not the clamp area where its too wide..its just the total bar width.

 

Im gonna trim them down...why buy another. As far as mig welding them....why the hell would i mig weld them? It wouldnt do **** because bars are aluminum........cant mig aluminum...... But thanks for the idea of just trimming them down a few inches.....im just gonna do that. WHre is a good place to get some pimp *** grips??
