i was talking to my doctor friend just now, shes working in trauma at jackson doing residency. told me this guy came in last week with no leg, motorcycle accident doing a wheelie ran into a guard rail.
get this...
the guy would have bled out, but someone actually put a belt around the injured leg and saved his life.

crazy huh? granted you thought of that on the internet from the comfort of your couch, but how many people would actually take their belt off and save the guys life like that in the heat of the moment!? im impressed, even my doctor friend said theres no way she would have thought of that.

 

the fist thing i think of when i see some one bleeding bad is stop the bleeding and if your doctor freind wouldn't have though of that then i think she needs to find a new job...lol

 

well, she doenst normally wear a belt, and has access to real medical supplies at the hospital, so its a bit different
