Re: h/b question nagros

thats alot.. sounds like you aren't doing something right. you shouldn't have to bleed your brakes all the time.

Re: h/b question nagros

Let me give you the definition of Overkill. On my 929 I had the following setup:

929 master with a steel braided line into a Busa tripple piston (opposed so 6 piston) caliper on the rear which grabbed onto a 320mm (01/02 GSXR1000) front rotor (mounted on the rear wheel).
In the middle of the line was a Wilwood proportioning valve that you would find on a racecar. This system was absolutely rediculous, and was WAAY too powerful.

I did not put any of that chit on, I bought the bike like that. I went back to all stock parts with a GP tech fitting and couldn't be happier. I've never tried the Full Throttle master, but the GP Tech seems to work for everyone around here. All you really need is the adapter and a decent master. Once it's bled correctly you'll be all set.

Re: h/b question nagros

when i was first learning i put afront rotor and caliper on the rear it was over kill but i like the 4 piston caliper on the rear because it makes the hand brake very adjustable not like just on or off youknow
