Jumping on the bandwagon is easy.. and disliking someone or a group you've never had contact with is plenty easy too.

I've heard lots of **** about LVX, probably some of it is true. But i don't form opinions about people based on what i "heard" on the internet. Untill i meet pauly, or one of the other LVX people (which will likely enver happen), and they are a dick to me, i'm not going to form an opinion about them. (or untill i see them post and make asses of themselves)

Is pauly out there making a new video doing circle wheelies and dragging tail for distance? No. Does that make him old news as far as technical stunt-riding is concerned? For the most part, yep. Is he competing in the XSBA anymore? Not that i know of.

So yea, in many ways.. pauly and LVX are yesterday's news. Then again, a good point is made earlier when someone said look at the LVX videos, and how *in their day* they were the ****. Tripple Xtreme has an older video out that i hear people ragging on fairly frequently, yet no one would deny that they are all amazing stuntriders.. because this sport is in it's infancy, and given the nature of a constantly evolving and very fledgling sport, what was cool yesterday is now boring today.

So, why pauly may not be at the forefront of technical stuntriding, did he release some videos that were signifigant in their day? yes. did he probably make an assload of cash off of those videos? yea. in some ways, i liken this a lot to local indie bands that might talk **** about some other band that made it big a few years back and "sold out" (creed, limp bizkit, greenday, etc.. whatever.. name your favorite two hit wonder)

I guess my point is, maybe LVX doesn't want to be at the forefront of technical stuntriding anymore. I gaurantee you that britney spears probably isn't the best singer in the world, nor the best dancer.. she doesn't even write her own music, but with the right promotion, she garners a lot of attention. Even "old outdated" LVX 2 has stuff figured out that many modern stuntvideos are lacking. It's all about what goals you are setting for yourself, and whether you meet them. Maybe LVX is meeting all the goals they set for themselves.

Will i be buying this video? No.. because i am not very interested in seeing the "LVX girls" or whatever. But.. does my level of interest represent the aggregate interest of the youth across america? no. Anyway, i'll stop rambling now.

 

LVX never did wrong to me, Ive met them a couple of times in person. I have heard stories but then again I've heard a lot of stories. Chics that stunt are alright by me, there tricks didnt seem to out dated to me cause I cant do any of that stunting. I say at the very lease I got another stunt video I can watch! With some T & A.

The stunt clips are really just filler, so that the film is not JUST girls taking off their clothes at the LVX booth. Tons of LVX customers were asking for the uncensored versions of 'Las Vegas Extremes II: Leap of Faith', and that's when we started compiling all of our girl footage that we couldn't put in our core 'Las Vegas Extremes' films. This film spans over 2 years of footage, so you are bound to see old stuff - that's because this is truly a behind the scenes look of what we got to see every day on this side of the fence.

No I'm not nude, but I take my shirt off a few times...i like gettin involved with the shoots with the hot chics...the so-so ones get the spotlight to themselves.

In the reality of it all, stuntlife.com members are not my target customers...no offense, you guys are just a different group of people. I figured that some of you guys would be interested in 'Las Vegas Extremes GIRLS', and I know this because a good chunk of you have already pre-ordered it, so I wanted to update those people on it's release date, but even if not 1 stuntlife.com member bought this video, it won't even make a dent in it's sales. I like getting on here and keeping up with the rumors and all, but this board is really living in a fantasy world. If my fate relied on my competitors buying my video, I'd be out of business...so you guys are obviously not a good representation of the general consumer, and neither am I.

I'm with you. I've rode with them before, and they all seem like nice people to me. I know they can ride better then I can, thats for sure. I got no reason to hate them. They just go out riding and have a good time, isn't that what riding is about?? having a good time.

At least theyre being honest enough to say they arent trying to market it as a stunt vid. If you want to see t+A then this might be the tape for you. If you want to see someone standing on their gas tank THEN you want an LVX stunt video.
