I'm on vacation... killing my liver out here in San Diego...
North Carolina has nothing on Cali...

 

San Diego is the only part of that God-awful state that I don't want to fall into the ocean!

F the People's Republic of Kalifornia and their anti-gun politicians, their smog, thier traffic!!!

ps. I adore San Diego, I say San Diego suceeds from the state to become it's own state, the 51st state: "State Diego" who's with me for this revolution?

Yeah I gotta agree with Dan, Cali is my home, but dont get me wrong, all that gun control business can f*ck off......but anything North of Santa Monica I could really care less about, just O.C. is where I stay....

I hate coming back from vacation.. and going to work....

 

At least you get vacation! I'm 7 months deep into 18 or 19 months without vacation! And to top it off, they're only going to give me 14 days when it does come time, ********

 

I thought that military personnel got 30 days a year, or is that some recruiting bs?

 

Hey man, I just got back from deployment and will be going on leave by the end of the month. Cant wait. I wont say for how long because it will probably just **** some people off. But gee, let me guess, you were stationed in either Camp pendelton or Miramar. When i was in Miramar It sucked, It was last october and the place caught fire. That sucked. So i still have a bad taste in my mouth about cali. But what ever floats your boat right

 

I've been home for a couple months after spending 13 months deployed. Now that I've finally got registered I'll probably be living on this site and my bike, not that I haven't been already. My unit is still on warning orders for possible deployment in October. So we'll see how that goes.

 

My boy is an MP with 94th something or other, he got his two weeks off, went back and a month later they sent him and his whole unit back home. they did like 19-20 months though

 

We earn 2.5 days of leave per month which works out to 30 days per year.

Wether they let you take it is another story. I'm cool with it cuz by the end of my contract I'll have roughly 60 days saved up, and that means I can take "terminal leave" and get out 60 days early.

Its like getting paroled early! I can't wait!
