16 days left

16 more days and I'll be a civilian again. I was hella happy about it, but now its kinda depressing. I don't want to stay in really, cause my job sucks. But I have no idea what I'll do when I get out.
Guess I'll go bang a barracks ho. That always cheers me up.

The Marine Security Guard Battalion is responsible for placing a Detachment of Marines at any American Embassy or Consolate abroad that has any classified information under its roof. That is our mission: safegaurd classified documents, materials, safeguard American lives overseas. Most important thing I've done since I've been in. I"m acutally making a difference (as compared to fixing radios and sitting around the shop bored). Happy Armed Forces Day!

Re: 16 days left

and then after you drill for the first time.. they'll prob. send ya over to the sand box.... I check and see if the unit your going to be in has been deployed recently... if they haven't they'll prob. end up going over there...my boys over on Pendleton are already back over there for their second tour.... I'd just check into it...

I was thinking about getting out, but the only job I know I can get for sure is in Crane,Indiana and I don't want to move all the way over there.
