question for those in the service

do you guys have your bikes at the base, or do you leave them at your parents house for when you are on leave?

if you do have them do you have alot of time to ride?

I would keep mine at a friend before i leave it parked in front of the barracks, but i don't live in the barracks so thats one thing less i have to worry about. I seen someone had their bike knocked over.

I live in the barracks, I've seen bikes kicked over too.
I used to have a gang of time to ride. But I was on shore duty.

well you will get a ton of drunk military people coming back from the bars etc.. and then they have to walk between barracks to get to their barracks. So they get this wild hair up their ***,walk by the bikes and kick them over etc... If you are in the Marines you will get plenty of time to ride. Oh and I kept mine at a storage unit off base.

On military bases (I know on Air Force bases for sure) you can file a claim with the base legal office for damage reimbursement if your bike/vehicle is vandalized, stolen, or broken into while on base.

I have a lot of time to ride but it real depends on what branch you are in and what kinda duty you pull. Riding is like any other hobby. I mean, the military DOES give you some personal time off.
