But seriously if we dont get at least 10 more haters like ryan in the next couple of days we aint doin something right. Ryan if you put as much effort into your marketing and riding skills as you do trying to bash us or make us look bad, you wouldnt have to worry bout someone else getting booked instead of you. Aint trying to be a dick but your seriously getting my nerves with your petty assumptions and you think you know it all. grow up bro, instead of being bitter maybe you should be happy that our sport is still growing over there and they still have an interest in what we do.

you are getting really defensive, this thread wasn't even directed towards you, you started preachin about getting payment for shows at the beginning of the thread and ways to get paid.....i'm callin ya out as a liar-hate me for it, but honestly bro, i don't like liars.

 

just make that clear when you quote what i posted that its not directed towards me. I'm livin the drama free life I'm cool with everyone. you going to china doesn't hurt my feelings in the slightest. I do however want to see our industry progress. bull **** like this is getting old... both of you need to put this issue to bed here and now. your both looking like 5 yr olds fighting for a turn on the swing. you took and opportunity just like any one else here would have obviously you have a brain and can see where ryan feels like he got pushed out of his gig. both of you need to agree to disagree and quit making yourself look like a jackass on a public forum.

 

you made this thread against me when you called me a scab... i gave helpful advice for people who are having a hard time making money doing shows, i actually think i told more than what i should, but i wanna see the sport grow and everyone get paid. So drop this **** already cuz i'm really getting tired of it.....

 

ive waisted to much time on this thread, i could think of at least 100 things i need to go get done... laterrrrrrr

 

I also agree for getting paid to do shows. We all know how expensive and time consuming it is involving, but not limited to:

-promotional material creation/distribution
-website modification
-travel
-bike/truck/trailer expense
-insurance for all three
-event insurance
-gas/diesel
-time
-skill required
-MC/PA
-sponsorship involvement
-etc

However, in the case of charity events the show should be donated on behalf of the team - where if you carry yourself and your team professionally enough that charity show will probably breed paid shows from attendees and be-it-all for a good cause to help generate more money for the cause.

Well, for those looking for an update... I called Ryan.... here is my lesson learned...

You can't please everyone... so Ryan S. have a good run at life and i wish you the best, but i have nothing else to say nor prove to you. Doubt me all you want, but it is what it is.

if shows were done for free (or cheap) at some point and then they called and you asked for more than they wanted to pay.. didnt you really expect them to get back on here and look for new free riders

Tony admits he tore up a hotel room and that it was his last time going.. now tony is affiliated with ryan... do you really think they want either of you after that??

any number of riders on here will admit that they would take an all expense paid trip to china...guru would, I would... and yeah you can get some current sponsors to add cash, or you can fake expenses etc


now, Ryan did one for free, the turned this show down... they got on stuntride and asked for someone else, plenty of people contacted them, they wanted chuck...

Is stunting synonymous with "diamonds and debeers" or "oil and opec"? If you control the supply, then you control the market and prices? Sounds like monopoly tactics.

Let's allow Capitalism to flourish. Why is stunting to make a buck any different than anything else to make a buck?

Let the individuals with the best product and services settle their differences with the market demand for it. If you provide the best services and the best all around product, there will be a demand for it, no? You get what you pay for.
