stoppie bike.......
im turning my 929 into my stoppie bike only... aside from 2 dampners geared diffrent any tips on making it roll better, l prolly need new forks cos its 1 929 fork and 1 954 so thats proly not good....im just gonna do stoppies on it thats it..
Re: stoppie bike.......
put as much wieght in the back of the bike as possible , get the hardest front tire you can find so you don't wear it out and let all the fluid out of your forks......oh ya and lower the rear suspension as much as possible and an extended swing arm probably wouldn't hurt either .....lol
Re: stoppie bike.......
some thing i didn't think of the other night , alot of people probably have there ac turned off at night now that it's getting cooler and have there windows open ......
if you go to the gateway spot during the day you would be amazed at how close the lot is to the houses on the other side of that field , you could throw a base ball and hit them

Re: stoppie bike.......
heavier constant rate fork springs, heavier weight fork oil, dirt bars, Radial front master cylinder 6 dampers, new race tires, +5 gearing, a pair of those chrome "*****" for trucks to hang from the tail for a counterbalance, one of those helmets with a big scoop on it.....
you know,...the usual stuff.

Re: stoppie bike.......
I got a bunch to add.
1. raise the center of gravity as much as possible, that way you'll lose less speed bringing it up. A Hohey top clamp for the front, and a 3/8" spacer on top of the shock in the rear should give you an inch all around.
2. Remove as much weight as possible from the rear. Narrower rim and tire, 520 chain. No bar, no rear pegs, lightweight exhaust. Maybe even remove the rear brake system if ur not gonna wheelie it.
3. Ballast in the front. Some people will say thats cheating, but comp officials wont. Relocate the battery to the front of the bike, right in front of the forks where a headlight would go. (no one will say thats cheating since everybody has a battery) basically whatever you can do to get the center of gravity up and forward.

Put new wheel bearings in - allballs, high-speed bearings with ultra low drag ...
