i need a rear tire ASAP! cheap!

my buddy has a new rear tire that has about a 1 inch slit in in all the way through... what are your thoughts about patching the tire from the inside??
good idea?

A nail hole yes. A 1 inch slit NO! I got a race take off i'll sell you.

 

A puncture is ok to patch...a slit isn't...IMHO. If you just need something to get by, I might have something for ya.

 

the best bet for that would be a patch, and then put a tube in it. Even then, I don't think I would trust it much.
