Only 1/2 of Tourdot Racing kicked any *** this weekend...

Me, the other half... well lets just say I kicked pea gravel

Road America, He Hates me!

Day started out with long long lines at Tech, forgotten transponders and no fuel for my tire warmers.

While extracting fuel first thing in the morning, a mistake was made resulting in Race gas getting splashed in my eye!
With all other RA/CCS BS, I never managed to get the tire warmers on my bike.
Although this is not the worst thing in the world, it set me up for making a very painful mistake.

1st Practice,
Cold tire, even colder track... and my Ham for a fist.
I enter into turn one, at a pace I thought was slow...
I grab a handful of trottle, lighting up the rear tire effortlessly
Instant Highside!
After a quick trip to Medical, I met my bike back in the pits and we put her back together.

2nd Practice,
I head out to the track again, with a tad bit more respect.
Heading into turn one...
My visor what misted, I smelt something bad...
I thought to myself, Goodbyeeee Motor
I get the bike off to the side of the track and wait for the crash truck for the 2nd time.
Turns out the wheel had grown from the forces of 160+, and was rubbing in the front fender...

I get back to the pits and grab Eric's bike.
At this point I have completed 1 lap!

3rd Practice,
Having never been on the bike before, on a track that I had only 1 lap on, I set up to get up to speed.
After the first lap I am get Mad head shake all over the place, once lock to lock!
I set up for turn 5 like I always do, rail the bike though, wondering the whole time if I was pushing to hard on the bike I didn't know...

Turn 6,
I pushed the front end!
Lowside city
I held on to the bike to keep it from flipping and doing any more damage.
We hit the pea gravel trap.... flip city!

Yes, that is me crashing the other Tourdot Racing bike.

After the 2nd crash, Fellow racer and Friend Chris “K3” Onwieler sat me down to talk.
He reminded me, Racing is a dangerous sport. If I were not at 100% mentally, it would be in the interest of my fellow racers, my friends, my loved ones and my cats… Just to sit the rest of the day out.
That’s what I did… I hated ever minute of it also!

Re: Bmxracer Props

Damn! That sucks! I was looking at the pictures thinking it was eric at first since the bike was getting so low to the ground before I saw the front tire up in the air

Re: Bmxracer Props

Trust me...
I will keep on racing!!

I found a differant bike I want to buy, but need cash ASAP to set the bike up if I get it.
Thus the reason for the attempt to sell my ZX6R fast.

Re: Bmxracer Props

well well well...xian tells his story and ryan... about those stickers ...he went through two sets of tourdot racing ones .....
and as for listing vmc as a sponcer there are t-shirts involved...... tourdot racing on the front, and the back.....with the sponcers listed on the back....

also the catch phrase is listed on the back... erics motto passing on the inside, the outside, and working on the upside down....
looking at that maybe we should have left that off ... since xian took it litterally.....
