Marty, ya the bike was insured, BUT I claimed my 01 Speed Triple, if i claim this one i get dropped.....the bike will be back together by this weekend looking better then ever anyhow so i'm not to worried about it..... We are working on getting insurance up here ....so maybe then i can get my **** fixxed
Duker who do have for ins on the bike? I would make that claim (especially for your knees) and then go find a new ins carrier........thats what I did after I got dropped........I paid inflated premiums for a year.....still less than 20 ***kin g's then got a new ins company.........$148.00 per year full coverage no lay up and only $500.00 deducts........of course the Z doesn't qualify as a raocket ....if I woulda kept the '02 r1 it woulda been $800.00 per year.......any ways.......bad thinds always come in threes.....you should be safe for a while.........

Thats cheep... almost to good to be true I used to have state farm.....they dropped me cause wife totalled my 900rr and then hit a deer w/ our car......then I went with some fly by night opperation for a year which cost me over 2 grand a year (for both our bikes) and now I just switched to american family. I had to put my cars with them as well to get the good rates. Yes I have a couple tickets, but dont forget I'm old and marrried! lol and like the tt my new bike isn't considered a "superbike" I dont even think its "sport touring." From all the people I've talked to though state farm is a great company to be with.5 of my buddies just switched and saved them a bunch of money. P.S. the wifes 2000 600 costs us $350.00 a yr. ful coverage w/ no lay up
