I am looking to run DB bars on my 636 and looking to get some feedback as to what everybody is running and some recommendations. I have vortex adj clip-ons not but I am 6'2 and think it would be a better setup with DB Bars. Just looking to get some ideas with those that have been running them. Also if you have Bar mounts or triple thats set up I already have new 1 1/8" bars. Hook me up with some input......

 

I'd think dirtbike bars would cramp you up even more.

i run scary gary bars, i got used to em and i like em. they are kinda narrow and sit low on my bike. i have an 07 zx6 though so ill just leave now

 

Im running the Tag T2 bars.. picked them up cheap and they seem ok, maybe a little wide though.

 

I've got 2 sets of TAG T2's. One set is currently being run. The other set is off my dirt bike. I run a hohey top tripple but that is some what costly. You can drill ur stock top clamp and just order mounts, or find another stock tripple and drill it. Mounts for 1 1/8 run $25-50.

I just bought these and can't wait to tryem out... I was running Henry/Reed Protapers
but I couldn't have my damper on there...

 

Tag2 with Tag risers

Cousin runs the Scary Gary bars and I dont like the pull back, the Tag bars are very little pullback

 

I'm running the Pro-Taper Contours 1 1/8" Mini Lows with 1.85 pullback and 2.81" hieght. The straighter & lower the better for me, with little pullback, and these where the straightest & lowest I could find. haha
Haven't had a chance to try them yet due to waiting on lines, but feel pretty comfy on the stand.
Before i just bought some Renthals 7/8" off the shelf at a dealer and they were nice as well.

im 6'6 and i ride with flipped vortex under the triple...works great for me...

 

Damn.....6'6 and no problems....there goes my chance at having excuses...
I'm rockin them regular now not flipped and still terrible...thanks for the input still lookin for more feedback......

 

I run magura xline sx bars on my R6 get ahold of sketchy they also come with risers he can hook u up. they are the same as tag bars but lifetime warranty on bends.

What are the issues with mounting your clipons on top of the triple other than bottoming out your front. Ive seen a few setups like this but dont know if its worth trying for the inch gain in height.
