Ryan S behind the scenes dickies advertising campaign pics
i posted this in the pics section as well, but i know there's a good handful of people who don't venture past the vmc forum
Last week i spent 4 days shooting a dickies clothing advertising campaign. the time was split between a print advertisment for magazines and a 30 second commercial which will air on sporting events and extreme sporting events such as dew tour and x-games. It was a nation wide campaign looking for people, and after my casting call, a month later I found out that I had finished in the top 5 in the nation. The whole campaign was geared towards finding real people who wear dickies in everyday life, have interesting "jobs" and have overcome adversity. I was told that I fit that bill perfectly so we shot this at Byron Dragway for 4 days, 2 days I had the entire track to myself and they also shot some footage of me performing infront of the crowd, I haven't gotten those pictures yet. I feel that this was a great way to get our sport infront of more people whom are unaware of what stunt riding in america really is. If anybody ever tells you that shooting a commercial is "easy", they are definately lieing to you, we were at the track at 7 am for sunrise shots with minimal background sounds, i spent 3 hours walking 7 feet forwards, 7 feet backwards, just to get a good shot of me "looking" like billy bad *** haha. I really can't wait to see the finished products, i saw some of the previous people they shot and these people were true professionals.

LOL OH THE WHEEL CHOCKS....well, i have some really nice pingel wheel chocks in there, but the really funny thing is, there is only 2 small U clamps holding the piece of plywood down to the bracket that holds the middle rear seat in.....lol, it holds like a champ though, unless i get in a good roll over, then i'm fucked

I didnt know that 636's could do 1.3 for sixty footer. Thats impresive.

Must have that turbo/supercharger/nitros/warpdrive/easybutton system on it.
