sunset tavern TOM., saturday.....stunt bikes on ice
myself and joe will be riding at sunset tavern on lake koshkonong tom. at around 11.....i've been wrenching on my 636 for the past couple days, the list of things i installed are:
CTS wave rotors----go to ctsmoto.com and check these bad boys out, you wont see anything like em....SICK.....soooooo sick, they are sponsoring me now!
Full throttle forks!--bill at full throttle inc.net reinforced my lower fork legs to reduce the chance of them snapping, a few guys have had them break clean off....i don't want that to happen so bill took good care of me once again
Rain tire stud setup---i took my indoor tires since we don't get to do monster jam shows much anymore, and stuck an assload of studs in them, i always try to build my next tires better than the last, so i'm hoping these are gonna hook pretty good
New FMF pipe----after trying to park a stoppie on a barrel last fall, i came up short and my pipe was the only thing that hit the barrel, it was bent in half, i get them ***** for free too, so i didn't loose sleep over it
NO cage or 12 bar---i am going for a clean looking machine, so i stripped off all the **** that i hope i don't need
CHROME rims---these aren't new, they are powder coated orange in the center and chrome outsides, had them back in the day but both are tweaked a bit and the front gives nasty head shake in stoppies, so i figure they will be good for the ice as i don't want to go back to crutches this winter so you wont see me doing stoppies
and the BIGGEST improvement is.....
******* HEATED GRIPS!!!!!! best 29.99 bucks i have ever spent, when riding on the ice, the main thing that gets cold is your hands......god bless the soul that made heated grips.

oohhhhh... Heated grips.. dude what do they look like. Do the slip under standard MX grips or is it its own grip. Is it sticky and soft. or hard like them clear CBR grips? Tired of heating my hands with the exhaust.
And those rotors look cool.

i got the kind that just stick onto the handlebar, i run renthal super thin grips, so if i could get them to work, any will work.

Does it look like this?

I knew those heating pads had other uses than warming up cold sandwiches.
