Yo Guys I could use a bit more help :)

Alright. So originally I just ordered a shifter, and a new puig windscreen. That was it. Now, I've managed to take the bike apart, put new plugs in it, notice a whole bunch of wiring I could do differently and I am lucky to have a friend who went to WYOTECH for interior/exterior. He's going to re-stitch my seats, and we're actually 90% done sanding the fairings down. Here's where I could use a bit of help:

Does anyone have the following parts laying around they'd like to get rid of for some extra cash, (and help me out in the meantime :D)

All of the following items would be for a 1999-2002 Yamaha R6:
Any Color works

Rear undertail
Dash Panels (especially dash panels!)
A fairing hardware kit

I would also like a few opinions on what to color this thing - we're going to paint my helmet as well.

We're building a spray booth out of 2x4's and a ton of plastic, a box fan an air compressor and a bunch of really expensive spray guns with all sorts of stuff all over them.

Anyone have any colors that go really cool on one of these things? It's got black rims, no rust anywhere on the frame, and it's totally bare and awaiting primer etc etc.

Thanks for any input or help I can get - again I owe you guys for the last time

It isn't that I couldn't custom my own bike. The idea was to grab something STOCK, like the majority of the bike minus a DYNOJET, exhaust and a sprocket. I wanted something I could get, sand down, and add to the pile of fairings I have laying in my garage scuffed to hell ready to be painted

I tried Milwaukee Auto Salvage, I was just looking for someone local - I dont really want to have to PAYPAL or EBAY a part - if I could I'd drive there to Janesville to grab it at your convenience, and at your price - that was my idea.

Thanks anyways - I'll post pictures before/after of it - my buddy went to WYOTECH and we're painting it 02 trans am ws.6 midnight blue - really deep blue with metal flake :D

Your fairings should be smooth before you paint them . I would get it down to almost 1000 grit before laying anything down

My bad. I don't do all the lingo. I was handed fairings and told to sand them with 150 grit to start. The fairings and process of painting are in good hands. My best friend went to WYOTECH for exterior/interior and hes got a super expensive spray gun. When I say scuffed I mean it's ready to go - I don't know a ton about body he's leading the show I have all the money

I'm pretty sure there's no rust on the frame cause alluminum doesn't rust

We finished everything finally. The only things I dont have on it right now are mirrors (Brushed Aluminum Pig Spotter II) and the front fender which I somehow misplaced the bolts for... I had to order new ones from a place here in Oak Creek.

Either way I have a photobucket set up for it

The first 5 are what it looks like NOW, and then anything before that is pretty much what it looked like when I got it (black with some pinstriping).

Thanks to all of you guys for your input

Travis
