Had great pleasure in photographing Ryan on a number of ocassions in Zhuhai and Shanghai China - particularly remember the wide angle shots as he donutted me !!
I know that I do not know Ryan as well as most of you but I am sure that if he is at all able he will return and will once again be a great stunter.

first of all get well soon bro.
second let me say that i don't know you personally, but i do love always hearing updates and seeing all the pics of you riding in China and stuff. you are an inspiration to many including myself. you always do it big. I'm sure you will get through this, but it's not going to be easy. My prayers are with you and the motorcycle gods are too.

Ok this really sucks bad get well soon Ryan!! I have done a number of shows with you guys and if you guys need anything let me know and for what its worth I know guys down here havent always got along but they have all told me to send the best to him for a speedy recovery!! Just got off the phone with Ryan's dad, Greg. He said the surgery was a great success! They got the rod in Ryan's femur, and he informed me that they have indeed closed his wounds! Greg said that Ryan is just amazing everyone by how much progress he is making everyday. He said he just couldn't believe how excited and impressed the hospital staff was today. I could hear in Greg's voice that he too was very pleased at what he has seen over the past day or two. Obviously, there is a long way to go, but its very nice to hear how upbeat the doctors are about Ryan!

I Don't know him but I got this link on another forum and having been in simalar accidents i wish him the best and hope there's no long tem damages especially to his back or knees.....

I think Ryan has 1 surgery left on his leg. Neal informed me yesterday that they will be taking the ventilator out soon. This means that he should start waking up and be more coherent to his surroundings.

yes he reconized his dad and mom and duker today. his dad asked him if he had remembered me being up there yesterday and talking with him and he wasnt sure but he thought so...and yes the dr broke the news to him today that he did indeed lose his foot, and i gues ryans reaction was "that sucks but ill get over it atleast im still alive"...i am over joyed and im glad to see his mom and dad doing better too they looked so relived today!!!!

Loosing your feet is no joke, and sure Ryan will be suffering for this... and i don't mean phisically.
I get to think he's quite a tough guy: one wich is capable of bearing both stress, tension and feelings.
Don't let him keep his grief within himself,
hey may want to cry, to shout or break some hospital furniture..
Expect it from him, that'll be thousands time better than keeping everything hidden.

you are totally correct.... spot on!!!
I have been in a very similar situation to Brian S. in October 1998 in Shanghai / China and you really need mates, friends and family to support you! seems there are mates, family, friends all over this board!
