New in Indy

..., I'm moving from Detroit to Indy, as early as this upcoming weekend. Waaay fast, but the job wanted me to transfer, figuratively, yesterday. So..., I found a place on the north side of Indy, inside the 465 loop, I know NOBODY down there, and I live to ride. Just wanted to say hello to anyone in the area, and try to find some folks to ride with/maybe hang with on the weekends to put a few beers away. Any other Indy riders still fighting through the last few weeks of riding this year? Fell free to PM me, or send an e-mail to dmpatter_37@yahoo.com

Looking forward to a new place..., prolly not as dirty as the D!

Later-
Dave

Shiat..., the mirrors are on, but I have to find the blinkers..., is it legal to signal with your hands down there? I'll have to check the ama site..., thanks for the heads-up though.

Re: New in Indy

damn it Dave. You move and didn't even bother to tell me You suck. Oh well, Indy isn't that far.

Everyone be careful of him. He is the world's worst rider. Kidding. We're pissed he moved because we wanted to take him to the track with us cause we know he would have kicked ***. He's an awesome rider.

See yah Dave. Good luck. We'll miss yah.

Re: New in Indy

Ok..., so, after a 2 day debocle, I have internet set up down here for this shiat..., er, I mean, work.

So I hear that College and 62nd street is the place to be on the weekends, parked in front of Jimmy Johns?? I won't be in this weekend, I have a trip back to Detroit to make to get the last of my junk, BUT..., I'm up for riding tonight if there's any takers.

Sorry r6girl..., things happened fast. I basically had a week to learn new state enviro regs, figure out where to live, learn a new portfolio, and completely learn new chem. systems, none of which I've toyed with. I'll be around though..., I hear there's a track (Putnam Park?) down here, and Gingerman and Grattan are only a few hours north of here. You can teach me what you learned ....

Yes, Putnam Park is just minutes from Indy, if you head out of town on West Washington St. it will be just before you get to St. Rd. 231 on the left hand side of the road. It is about 1 mile off of 40. NESBA is running there this weekend both Saturday and Sunday, some of the Lafayette guys will be down on Sunday, if you want to show up, it’s free to watch, look for the rednecks with the 90ish faded red blazer pulling an open trailer, it will have a F4 with an F4i tail on it plus another bike, and should be parked next to a white doge ram full size with an R6 in back.

Yeah, I heard about it up at Indysportbikes..., but I have to go back to the D this weekend . The cross-town drive will beat the cross-state drive I used to have though..., thnx for the directions.

Any time, we’ll let you know when we go next; it’ll probably be next spring, though. I won’t be able to make this weekend either.

Re: New in Indy

You guys had to wait to really start going to those track days after I left town. Who knows, one day I might be able to afford to actually go to one But first I want a new one, then I'll think about a track bike

Yah, I’m trying to scrounge up the funds to buy a used track bike as we speak, the Busa is great, just not for the track, it cost too much. But one way or the other I’m planning on going to at least one day a month next year, more if I get a track bike and can afford it. I don’t have time for WERA, but I will be doing the NESBA events a lot, as well as DESMO, and would like to get up to MI for at least one-track day. We’ll have to get together and maybe you can go, even if it’s on the old Yamaha. I mean if Mike’s bike passed teck, you should have no problems.
