I’m curios, why is the engine bone dry? And, I would assume, that since at Phoenix, they always leave my bike in neutral, that it was in neutral, plus it is near impossible to push them in gear, dry or not.

nope it was sitting in my shop and my dad came by and needed to get a car in. clutch swap BTW, and you can thank Sean @ Phoenix for delaying it by only ordering ONE clutch spring.

Even if it did turn the motor, unless it was started, turning it by pushing it, would be no worse than starting it when it is cold. Should be fine either way.

Screw maintenance shops, you can always get the work done cheaper/faster/better if you do it yourself. I've been had way too many times. It's not as hard as ppl think, just buy a manual and start tearing into it. I can drop the engine out of my bike in 1 hr flat if I had to.

It takes me longer than that to get the plastic off of the bike, and I’m getting good at swapping plastic. 1.5 hours to get to the engine and another 2 to drop the engine on the floor, and I did mean drop, it was heaver than I thought. But in a couple of days all I would need to build a Busa from the ground up is an engine and main frame, sub frame and lowers, I think I have spars of every thing else. Then I could have three to chouse from, if I ever get the time to fix the original one.
