Battle of the Bikes
Battle of the Bikes
Due to feedback from members of your club, a NEW class has been added to the Battle of the Bikes focused towards street bikes called Street Bike Unlimited. Racing heads up (fastest bike wins) with a decreased entry fee of only $30 it will be a 32 bike field with $400 going to the winner, $200 to the runner up, $100 to the semi’s and $50 to the quarter; with a total purse of $1000. To ensure that there are NO RACE bikes in the Street Bike Unlimited class so that ANY ENTHUSIAST on the street can compete and have a GOOD chance to win it, the following rules apply: All bikes must be self-starting with working head and tail lights, no stretch frames, running only street approved DOT tires (No Slicks), current license plate, power adders allowed, with no wheelie bars. As an added benefit we are offering a $10 buy back for anyone that loses in the heads up race to go race in the Street ET bracket racing class. If you think you’re fast on the street, then come prove it one the track.
For those more interested in bracket racing than heads up racing, we are also offering the Street ET class with the same rules as the Street Unlimited to once again ensure that ANY street bike enthusiast will have a good chance of winning. Payout is $300 to the winner, $150 to the runner up, $75 to the semi, $50 to the quarters, and $30 to the eights.
For those with race bikes, we also offer the PRO ET class running in a bracket style race with $1500 to winner, paying all the way to the eights with the added benefit of featuring a Quick 8 race with $250 going to a winner.
For riders interested in stunting, every Battle of the Bike event will feature a professional motorcycle stunt exhibition throughout the race! The first race will be on May 7th with Jimmy Moon’s Team Exotic Freestyle performing stunt exhibitions.
One Sunday, every month will feature a battle of the bikes event. On May 7th, Gates open at 11:00am, Time Trials begin at Noon, and racing begins at 2:00pm.
As always I welcome any questions or comments.
