Re: Lookin for SV

$2800...little far for ya to come see it. I'd go against any other SV to prove I'd smoke it. Good luck

Re: Lookin for SV

Havent had to take apart my forks yet, as i bought the bike with 15-20w fork oil in it.(compared to watery 5w stock). I have seen picstures, and looked at the shop manual, it doesnt look to hard but i would not wanna do it

My mechanic charged my buddy 180$ to do his 88' Katana fork seals.. i dont know if thats a good deal tho. just look on ebay for some nice springs (dont put in ****).. you could probabaly get away with jsut changin the oil to something heavier

yeah it could just be oil but right now its pretty bad, i can make the forks compress almost 4" just from tuggin a bit on the handlebar when its on the sidestand, you can feel every little bump on the road through the handlbars...

and you ever get some weird vibrating sound from the front of ur sv going over bumps and such?? its either from the fairing rubbing together or somthing to do with the stay or somtin, its really anoying tho

LOL.. My dad..I swear he knows everything and anything about any kind of engine, ESPECIALLY bikes.. I can just tell him what kind of noise I'm hearing or what seems weird to me and he always seems to automatically know what it is and can fix it so easily
