JBizzle - do you still have that red can kickin around?
I don't think he does..it's probably somewhere at the Factory. BUT, it was one of the first ones we made just to see the color..so it wasn't UV coated yet. All of our anodized exhausts are UV coated though (except for the ones we had done as samples). The one that he had would change to a different red over time and end up not matching the bike anymore. If you want one, parts canada is selling them, and they are ALL UV coated

He doesnt have it anymore.. I do..

you can buy a slip-on for it in the red anodized.. im pretty sure that we just took his regular aluminum exhaust and changed the sleeve to an anodized.. im not sure if we gave him an actual new muffler or just changed the sleeve.

I don't know if we still have his old red one, i can double check though, i wasn't at work when he got his new one put on.. but it won't fit over your stock can if it is just the sleeve..that stock can on those SVs is HUGE haha..

I would suggest saving up for a slip-on or full system (more expensive) for your SV. The anodized colors are VERY nice and Hindle has very decent prices for the quality and power you will gain (that's what a lot of our customers tell us, which is very very good to hear). Check out the partscanada site and you can see the new anodized mufflers and find your local Parts Canada dealer.

I sound like an advertisement haha

So lean low you gonna come ride with the antiks boys next year? and what year is yor nike again most likely you need to replace your oil on your forks but also while if your gonna take the forks apart to do you should replace the seals and also the springs your all about the wheelies now right? so replaceing the springs will help soften the blow when your front end comes down. ive also been told that when yah pull the forks apart to jsut go a head and replace the springs.

Re: Lookin for SV

Hey, I have a full LEo Vinci Ty system foe the SV. Sorry F4I, but the Leo is about the best system you can get for the SV. I did a ton of research when I bought the system, and it gave the most power increase, not the cheapest though. So if you want it, it is mint, and I am open to offers.

yeah i'll definalty be out with you guys alot next season, i got my bike pretty late so i barly got out with you guys much...and its a 99 sv...and yeah i think ill jjust end up replacing the springs and everything it'll be another winter project...right now there pretty bad, im not sure what kinda oil is in there now but i can pretty much fully compress the forks with one hand when its on the stand, i feel every bump pretty much and it makes for shitty turning...what kinda stuff you planning on doing to the katana?

I hear 20w is best for the SV, but 15 is good too.

Re: Lookin for SV

for the katana the list starts with carborator rebuild and hopefully rejet, new custom paint job respect to lostkoz's designs. also exhaust is huge on the list and some custom light work and one other thing but its a secret only the antik boys know about it. but the secret is a hopefully gonna turn out to be a very uniq peice if i can get it to work properly. also if i get the time maybe some engine work but prob wont get to it.

Re: Lookin for SV

goto www.svrider.com then tips and tricks. there they have a lot of good info. The ofrks are not as easy as drainging the oil and dumping new stuff in. It is a precise measurement. I know that they have a section on there referring to front suspension, and exactly what type of fluid as well as how much. I did it, worked pimp... I tried to copy the link, but it will not work.. You are big boys and can finger it out... Have fun... And who wants an EXHAUST SYSTEM
