Wow thats sportsmanship ...nice story. I went to Portlands XSBA for the first time and all the guys were the same very open to speaking with us (Darius, Alex & I) about how competition is scored and whats expected of us as professionals. Basically all competitors were very kind (Almost like I have known them for many years as best friends) it was nice to be apart of that event as well.

I really like that story of yours....its a great thing when that happens.

When these big guru's of compaines get off their ***'s and see that you all are off the hook with mad skillz and the best of friends through competition they'll see a gold mine in their eyes.

I can't wait until TV air time for ya brothers mashing it up....

I just hope stunting doesnt go TOO corporate. Thats one of the things that drew me towards stunting. I'd like to see it be kinda like Freestyle MotoX. Just enough sponsorship to help us, but not so much that the companies run everything. One of the best things about stunting is that everyone has their own individual touch to their bike. Johnny has the tribal, Thew has 1096 down the side of his bike, Starboyz got the fur and so on. I just don't want to see companies get involved to the point where they are telling the riders what to wear and how their bikes should look. Anyways...I'm rambling.

and show everybody how you invented everything?
This industry cracks me up!...the rumor mill is worse than a bunch of old ladies in a hair salon & nothing better to do. Of course we didn't invent everything! And who the hell cares anyways? Is the market really so saturated with talent that riders are actually having pissing matches as to who invented what? That is so close-minded...LOOK AT THE BIGGER PICTURE!!! It doesn't matter who invented a stunt, the credit that you are looking for will NEVER be there...as far as the general public is concerned, whoever they see do the fender-grab first is the inventor...just a touch of advise - choose another path for your long journey to the middle, as being the 'inventor' of everything will take you absolutely nowhere.

And why does everybody challenge Pauly?? Is it because he is not a participant of your bullshit rumors? nor does he talk negatively about any of the riders of this sport? Does that make him an easy target because he is 'out of the rumor loop'? Do you realize how much credibility you instill in him by 'calling him out'? Pauly obviously must have his **** together if everybody challenges him...Colbert did it, Starboyz did it, and now D-Mann is doing it...how friggin classic is that? We thank you for your challenges, and we appreciate all of the publicity you have given us (please continue to do so)...we will review your proposition and keep you in mind for the future.

Just a quick story about the 'invention' of street freestyle:

To everybody in the US, please don't forget that street freestyle has been extremely popular overseas for decades. So long in fact that I don't even know who started it over there...During Laguna Seca 2000, I met a tiny old french lady that spoke half English, half French, and informed me that she was glad to see us Americans catching on...she had a bunch of old black-and-white photos of her and her daughter on an old school Kawasaki, doing all kinds of stunts that we do today and more! These pictures were takin in the late 1960s...dates were on the back(thats over 30 years ago)! Also, I am sure that you guys have seen that ARAI helmet ad with Mr. Arai doing a christ-air through a field on his old-*** bike? Just another example...

So, in conclusion, LVX will NOT take any credit for the invention of this sport, as it is obviously owed to many riders long before us...LVX was at the right place at the right time, and are extremely lucky to be where we are today. We are sorry to see some of the other lucky people (D-mann, Colbert, Starboyz) lower themselves to talking smack rather than putting their head down and working as hard as they can towards their own futures...negativitey will only get you so far...you will lose in the end...but good luck to you anyways!

As you guys have already said, competition is generally a good thing...it creates publicity for all involved and could definitely boost any participant's reputation...we are currently focusing on a completely different aspect of business right now, and it is demanding all of our time - so we might be MIA for awhile...you gotta sacrifice to earn success!

Good response like always....I love it. Jo Jo your incredible through your writings....

What I think needs to happen is the main players who started this sport...ie Todd, Star Boyz, D-Mann, LVX all get together and get this SPORT to the point where it needs to be (TV, X-Games). I sure in the hell can't do it myself, but I will help in any way I can!

I think having so much pull with sponsors and CEO's of companies can achieve this point for the sport and thats only going to happen when we pull together as a TEAM!!!!

Your all talented, but the future is very bright for some or it could be for all....?!?!

I'm in it for ALL! And the people I hang out with are in it for ALL. Example...last weekend in Vegas NHRA Darius and Alex were invited to hang out with some Vegas brothers for this show (38,000+ people) and we all represented this sport as a team of riders for all riders. Thats my point of view during the weekend.

Soooooo whens the challenge? Lets make it one of the XSBA events next year. Like I said, I'll donate 20 bucks for the purse.

In fact, what if I threw in 10 grand?

Thats what I am talkin about Baker!!!!
Its all about makin the sport as big and as recognized as it should be...
Baker, what JOJO said is basically what the point I was trying to make. It is all about makin it happen for the sport, and personal success.
I agree with the statemaent "YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT THE BIG PICTURE" .
I feel bad for JOJO and Pauly, it seems like every time they are on the forum they are explaining themselves or justifying an action. That is Bull-Manure if you ask me. they have done alot for the industry.
So props go to you LVX, from me anyway, NOT ONLY for the trick-*** riding but for what you have done for the sport of stunt riding and the industry in which it lies. Keep on, and you will reach your goals, while others just fade away.

SICK OF THE B.S.

I have to say L.V.X. was the first extreme video i had ever seen, it was what made me want to roll my first endo. It became my obsession.
New stunts, new teams, and new videos come out every day. There is huge talent in this industry and this is what keeps the bar rising. There is no top and no best rider as far as im concerned. So drop the B.S. and RIDE, show me something I havent seen before.
As for L.V.X. you cant say you dont talk smack because the proofs on tape in vegas knights since "Pauly is so organized" he has more time to make a ten min. segment about the Starboyz. ( Must have forgot about that huh)

We don't mind explaining situations or giving reasons for why we did or said something, because there is ALWAYS a reason. No decision or conversation is held without looking at all aspects and all consequences, and therefore we ALWAYS decide to be the good guy...because the good guys may lose some battles, but they always win the war.

Thanks for the kind words, and your input is always welcome in this forum!

That was all in good taste! Whether you know of the Starboyz or not, love 'em or hate 'em, its a funny segment. Its just some friendly competition...it doesn't hurt the boyz' image at all, and it makes people laugh - which makes for a positive segment.

All I can say is Colbert+Clear Channel = HUGE PROMOTION...

Yeah Sarg!!!

Do you know who owns Clear Channel??? Well, I'll tell you and everybody else.

Red Mc Combs

Yes, the same guy that owns the MN Vikings football team, the same guy that owns about 80% of radio stations around the country, and the same guy that owns most of the promoter's who make concerts in the US. Also owns CCS, Formula USA, National Road Race Series, XSBA. The list goes on.....(don't take my word on this, research it yourself)...http://motorsports.cc.com/

A pretty good stronghold on entertainment in America wouldn't you say?????????

Thanks for bringing that up Sarg!

Goose
p.s. I'm still pondering my response for the Pauly vs D-Mann thing.

D-Mann,

I think what really "gets" me is that you just drop this bomb in the LVX thread 5 days ago, and walk away...no post since!

Why don't you come back in here and respond to a little of what has been said by JoJo? And everybody else for that matter.

If you're "speaking up", then keep on speaking.........don't leave us at just ONE sentence!

Here I did some research for all ya'll...............

A direct quote from the vikings website: go to www.vikings.com click on THE TEAM, then FRONT OFFICE, then Mc Combs, Red.

And you'll get this about half way down the page:

"McCombs and an associate, Lowry Mays, formed Clear Channel Communications in 1972. Today Clear Channel is the world's largest outdoor advertising company with operations in 36 countries and the world's largest radio station owner with over 1,100 stations including the Vikings' flagship station, KFAN, in the Twin Cities. Clear Channel also owns or operates 22 television stations. McCombs is also the sole owner of McCombs Energy and Oil Explorative Company headquartered in Houston, Texas."

Who owns the XSBA, you ask? http://motorsports.cc.com/

Red Mc Combs!

Question

I have a question. If Pauly is such a great guy why was there a falling out with him and D-man and Bendo? Why does everyone in the industry dislike him so much and never have a good thing to say about the guy? Also if Pauly is one of the best stuntriders out there why has he not excepted anyones challenge, is he afriad he will lose face???

Hmm...

Lets see what others say about Pauly...

I spoke with him for many hours about 5 weeks ago about stunting and the business needs. Pauly seemed like a cool guy, but he spoke in the 3rd person alot, which had me wondering who I was speaking to....LOL

Alot of people say he is just stuck on himself and thinks he is the bomb and noone compares to his level. Another said quote "If I'm in it, it will sell".

Like I said he seemed ok to me over the phone, we had a great time talking up the BS.

My saying goes... "Don't forget where ya came from and those friends you had prior to fame because one day you'll be back and they might not be there". Also, you all can be heros or you all can be a legend...which would you choose?

I'm shooting to be a legend!

Wow, You know some of you, when I get bored and have nothing better to do I do some reading, hang out, go clubbing, and I don't just talk **** about people. Perhaps picking up a new hobby would help with that.

Another thing that seems very interesting to me is, if I told you guys some good things about Pauly do you think that anyone would be talking about that. I don't think so, they want the trash and I just want to know why. Is it perhaps because one person says some b.s. and another ads on his little spin to it and so on and so on and what do you get in the end. What you get is someone saying well if all of these guys are saying that well that must be true.
I was thinking about spreading a rumor that I have a 12 inch dick, but I'm affraid that by next week people will be saying that it's 24, but ****, it must be true, cause that one guy said it.

A question for -Baker-?
I hope youre kidding with this whole Pauly speaking in 3rd person thing, right? Well I'm sure you spoke with him also and heard him speaking in third person, right?

Fatrat... This is all too funny. I understand exactly what your saying in regards to rumors..thats so true LOL

This is why I don't pass judgement on people...EVER!

Like I said he seemed like a cool person, more like alot of my friends. Pauly knows business and thats what I know as well, I'm not holding this level of business yet. I like to talk about business and playing the big cards. My family (Father) is very high up in the business world through his company and Pauly was a pleasure to speak to.

Lets see...

-Baker- likes stuntN, at least he likes to film it. He can't stun a motorcycle and he is the SBF "Bad *** Video Editor" the fans like some of his work and that sells. -Baker- and SBF are like one top seller for the fans.

No I didn't just talk about myself.....LOL

I'm done with this post ....I'm just waiting for some friendly competition now.............. or at least be acknowledged.

Lets see who will be a Hero and who will be a Legend.
