Re: nice evening car shoot

Derek,

Car looks really good, can't get cars like that in the UK cos of the way our MOT system works and keeps old heaps off the roads.

at best you can get old moris minors or mini's but they sell for way too much, and never look as good as your old american cars

now all you need is a real big block radiator so you can get rid of that flex fan.

yeah, Ive tracked some down on ebay/cl and also re-mans/ from local shops. I did all the paperwork to get the lump sum from my workers comp (not lawsuit) so I'm gonna pay all my bills off and dump about 7-10 g into the car :YEAH, plus new fender skins are 700 shipped, found a 67 4 door that has been sitting & might go examine and make an offer

when you say fender skins, do you mean quarter panels or front fenders?

patches are fine as long as the other material is okkay to be welded on. unless you quarters are completely covered in filler or holes, i would just patch them.

i just thought about all the salt and **** from the snow, so your car probably has pretty bad cancer. my first GTO came from SLC utah, it almost got the axe twice.
