Re: will bike fit in a minivan?
I was looking at a ford windstar, it's just your avg minivan, but it does look like there's enough height between the floor to ceiling, maybe without mirrors. I'm also looking at trucks, but I just think a minivan would be a smoother ride and possibly better gas mileage... I don't know, I was just wondering.

ok, then if I go with a truck(cuz F an astro van), will a bike fit in the bed of an '01 - '05 Ram 1500 quad cab short bed? or would I need a bed extender?

Re: will bike fit in a minivan?
i have seen bikes in the back of those little fords and they hardly have a bed , they do have to use the tail gate for the rear wheel though

ya, exactly what I'm thinking of... I got a Civic Si that I want to sell/trade and it's worth about the same as some of the nicer trucks.. I wish I had some extra money for the nissan titan's tho, those are bad ***.

Re: will bike fit in a minivan?
I tried to cram my old dirtbike (ttr225) in a dodge minivan one time and it came really close but was alittle to tall to come in the back and alittle to long to come in the side door and turn. That was taller than my rocket so you could prolly cut it close and get away with it. It would be a bitch loading and unloading it though cause theres not much room at all to work with.
I gotta little 4cylinder isuzu pickup (same exact thing as a s10), and Ive crammed 2 stunters in the back, like 3 tires, a couple book bags, 2 helmets, and some spart parts in the back but with all that weight it makes my truck wanna hydroplane really bad in the rain cause all the weights off the front, and my suspension sags like crazy. Eather get a midsized truck with a v6 like an extended cab dakota, or a mid sized, 6cylinder car with a trailor. That would be comfortable, have room , and have enough power to tow your ****., and not kill you on gas.
