screw driver and wire snips. If its a 636 pop bottom of ignition out, turn the white thing with a penny, drive away.

the tank lock and the rear cubby lock are usually 3 to 4 tublers less then the ignition. i just had mine done at the locksmith...

i baught a tank of ebay that didnt have a key so i picked it so i could send it out for paint. thinking ill just use my gas cap stuff of my 01 but its diffrent so i needed the 98 stuff which i didnt have the key for.... the locksmith re-keyed the gas cap to my key pattern for 30 bux and included a spair.

 

i usually take of the ignition take it to the dealer and they make me a copy for $5.00. theres some digits in the ignition that how they make the copy.

 

if you can take ur ignition apart just take the tumblers out and use what ever key you want. just don't tell anyone u did it. had to do it to a friends cause he lost his key. works like a dream now.
