05-06 636 Ignition bypass HELP!

05-06 636 Ignition bypass HELP!

key is getting soft and is starting to bend, scared that it might get stuck in my gas cap or ignition! does anybody know of the proper bypass for the ignition to replace the key with a simple switch? any input will help thanks!

Bring your key into the dealer or a locksmith and get a new one cut before it breaks...

dealership cost is 100 bucks would rather make the bypass and not have to worry about the key and i forgot to mention that the bike is strictly for stunting so the key is useless to me just a headache

I'm pretty sure it's transistorised ignition. This means the switch sends a specific voltage and can't be simply by passed.

If your mechanically inclined have a look at your ignition switch, take it off your bike, take it apart. See if you can use the switching mechanism without the key. You may get lucky.

Hopefully the key doesn't have a chip. In that case your better off relocating your ignition...
