BEfore you get too excited, I am not selling this bike, just curious if anyone would buy a bike like this with no VIN on the frame? Could be stolen and I have a problem with that. Could you buy a clean titled frame and then title the bike? Or is the a VIN on the engine that could be used instead of the frame and if that is the case. Just curious if anyone would buy a bike like this and I am new to the site so if this is the wrong spot to post this don't get your panties in a bunch.

No VIN = no buy for me. End of story.

 

Since you are asking, no title can sometimes be no problem but no VIN is usually an issue.

 

If there is NO VIN on the frame, better belive me when I say, theres a reason. Id bet all my money that bike is stolen or was stolen. Get caught wit no title, or just a title of destruction is not too bad from the cops, no vin they take it no if ans or butts. You can swap all parts too a legit frame but there is still a chance they might run the vin on motor an new frame. not too likely on a normal ridien bike, but does happen

 

Like everyone else has said... If there is no vin its hot there is no reason to remove a vin... at all... Unless its stolen
