Re: Ls1 Cormino drift car project

theres good deals once in a while, youve just gotta be persistant in checking everyday and calling and going to look at it right away when you do come across one. i found a 65 mustang that ran and drove with a clean body for $1500 the other day. the listing was removed by auther a day later. someone got a helluva deal. also, if youre not picky on the classic car, it makes it alot easier to find a deal then having your heart set on a specific model/year.

Re: Ls1 Cormino drift car project

I started drifting in an 81 El Camino. Wasnt as bad *** as urs tho. Drift ina cleshay S13 now. My first 3 cars were 80s model El Camino's. I love em. Ive gotta 69 in the works. Lookin for an LS motor for it, but itll be a while. Its getting an 86 top from the windshield to the rear window. Thats my bad *** bike hauler project.
Anyway good work and looking forward to those drift vids dude.

Re: Ls1 Cormino drift car project

Wow that is crazy nice. R those 16" cragars of torque thrust lookin wheels w 245s? Getcha some 18" vette or camaro wheels w some performance tires. U need the wider contact patch and side wall rigidity of a bigger wider rim. The combo you got in the pick are good for commuting but its feels like the car is suspended by bungy cords when you try to slide it w any persition. They slide real sloppy and that makes you look bad. Besides your rockin an LS1 damn it!

Re: Ls1 Cormino drift car project

forgot to write this over here. Reason for it being called the "Cormino" is its going to have c5 corvette motor/trans/seats/mats/rims/brakes.
