Ls1 Cormino drift car project
 

Set out to build a 1 of a kind Drift/Street car 1984 El Camino with Corvette: motor/trans/seats/mats/rims/brakes. Got my hands on a ls1/4l60-e
Started out by getting a custom fuel cell made with a built in fuel pump that supports up to 500hp.

also lowered it 1" with some edelbrock springs and some IAS shocks.
Still need to put body/all bushings and lower/upper control and trailing arms.
Built a roll bar that goes behind the seats and connects to the frame on the doors sides

worked out some intake and more clearance issues.

And I just recently finished the motor and trans and everything else I had to do.
right now the car is at the wiring guy/ a/c guy. And now I need to buy some rims and tires and brakes. And do some drifting.

heres a cheesy photoshop i made last night to get an idea of how the 2 tone paint scheme would look on it. Would probably look alot better if it were real...

are you going to stay with the original color on the bottom and go with a black two tone up top? and who is going to paint it for you and how much are they chargin you? i only live three hours away.

hey whats up man. thats cool you live close. I'm still not sure about paint yet and dont even have any funds to put towards that yet. (suspension parts needs to be installed asap) But Ill keep you in mind when that day comes.

350/350 with plenty of room to grow
