went to jail once for two days. That was enough for me. Got the charges withheld and kept my endorsement.

I keep it off the streets. So, I have nothing to worry about unless the cop wants to find me on some closed off road or vacant lot and try to be a dick about it.

Thank God I haven't been to jail, but I was close when I got pulled over by a Sheriff once for doing stand-ups and once when I got pulled over by the Highway Patrol in Florida. Both times I was cool with the guy so in turn he was cool with me. $100 ticket the first time, $47 ticket the second.....neither one of them moving violations or on my record.

I had mine gone from July 1999- July 2001(2 years)......had to ride the bus everywhere and had very little of a social life. I hate riding the bus and I hate not having a social life. Now I am valid and have been for about 1 year or so.

I don't know how I've kept my license this long, I still drive like I'm mad.

Im on permit for the bike and hate it. I have had many speeding tickets and a streetracing ticket on my car, but that was 4 years ago. Clean record now and it feels good. On my permit it says that I cant ride at night on highways and interstates and when visibility is below 500feet. F- it Ill get the license too much leaverage cops have when its the permit I think. Im just afraid that when the license tester guy says oK I need you to stop at that line, Ill pull a stoppie just out of habbit.

JAIL SUCKS

Been in jail twice in last 2 months. One for evading (long story) and one for wreckless driving (yes, apparently you can go to jail for that). Gotten 2 tickets for wreckless. One for speeding. In texas evading is a felony conviction so am on 3 years probation, if evade again they say can do 2-5.

who cares they hate us all any way
anyone want to lend me $1,200 so i can pay all my tickets?
$1200 for 33 tickets? thats a pretty good deal

in NSW, Australia the fines are as follows (very roughly):
speeding 1km/h - 15km/h over the speed limit - $190
15km/h - 30km/h over - $250
30km/h - 45km/h over - $500 + 1 month licence suspension
45km/h - 60km/h over - $800 + 6 month suspension AND only 1/2 points when you get your licence back
speeding more than 60km/h over - no questions asked, you get arrested and go to court (minimum 1 yr suspension, depends how the judge feels)
wheelie/stoppie - $380

i know someone who was doing high 200's on a freeway, ran 2 road blocks, finally got arrested, $5000 fine, 3 year suspension and if he rides/drives while suspended, he gets jail time

(the au $ buys about US 0.60 and 15km/h = 9mph)
