The only other way besides buying a bike in the game I would see acceptable is winning one in compitition

I don't know what you think I'm implying. I ride, I stunt, I know what the sport is about. I appreciate your concern, but if you wanna be a little more constructive, let me know what the hell you're talking about. You don't like the "not starting with a dope bike" part? I'm not talking about starting with a scooter. It would be something like, at the beginning of the game, you'd only have enough cash for a slightly older bike. Like an F3, or an older YZF or something. My first bike was an F3. Plenty to learn sit downs and stoppies on, but it didn't compare to my gixxer 750. And the 929 I have now would be even later in the progression. This is an obvious game progression.

If you're talking about other ways to get bikes, it would be through unsanctioned comps, either for cash or title. Anyway, relax a bit. I'm in the sport, I know the scene, and I wouldn't let the game get shitty. If it starts to get shitty, I'll **** on the front door myself.

As for the control stuff a56kuser, good stuff. All the mod stuff that we do to our bikes will be in for sure. I'm working out ways to use the clutch and brakes. The game has to be fun for the casual gamer, but I also want the advanced clutch and brake control that come with riding 12's and what not. As for rider position, it's a must. Keep comments coming guys, I appreciate it.

This would be awesome, there isn't even a really good superbike racing game out there, to have something like this brake out would do wonders for the sport. My only concern is, if the whole game takes place on freeways every kid out there will want to go buy a bike and to the freeway he goes to wreck into another vehicle while doing a wheelie. There def should be freeways in the game, but not till the rider has got some skills.

boya!!

first off.. more power to ya! i really hope this takes off. i live in illinois which means when there is snow on the ground durin winter all i do is watch vids and find games that i can do stuff even remotely related to stuntin. i'd say the best bike game out is probably moto gp just cause it's good detail and racin. but b4 speed kings came out every bike game limited u to wheelies/endos and burnouts. (ie gta3 vice, midnightclub, moto gp) my concern however is that u don't repeat the way off terms of speedkings. what good is it introducin stuntin to mainstream and handin them screwed up names for the stunts. that game calls a flamingo a surfing wheelie. stuff like that is small .. but annoys the hell outta me. (there is a glossary on this site to help ya if ya not sure the names of stunts ) the other thing i don't like about speed kings is there is not enough attention to detail or keepin it realistic. for example u can be surfin on the bike and pull a wheelie.......riiiiite. my point is the more real it is the more fun it is. best of luck!!!

I'm all for someone making money but if you want valid input from this community then make sure that the community is taken care of. Don't ask for our advice and opinion if all you want to do is give a copy of the game and say "Thanks". I just don't want it to be "Thanks..........for making me some money, you poor stunter slobs!" F*** THAT SH*T!

If you want our help then you should definitely be comping us with something NO MATTER how big this game gets or doesn't get.

How are you going to come up with a name if our entire community is helping you?

And what is the game going to be called? THE STARBOYZ STUNT SPECTACULAR? DAN JACKSON'S STUNT WORLD? TRIPLEXTREME'S KRAZY LIFE???

Everyday there are news teams that are emerging. Some with hopes and dreams of becoming as good as Thew and Gorka. And some with dreams of less but definitely not least. And yes some teams are trying to make the stunting life their career.

Bringing our sport into full main stream is the goal of everyone. and if this game helps that goal reach achievement then I am for it. But be damn sure you remember where the life came from.

Laterz, KW Rich

i think that the key, or atleast part would be to make it free roaming!!!! what fun is running from the popo if you have to stay on the hiway. i'm pretty sure this is one MAJOR reason gta3 did so well.

as for the controls you could make it kinda like t-hawk, where there is a little bar for balance and you could use the stick to control it. also make it so you can pass the balance point without instantly crashing, like in real life, you don't instantly fall off your bike and slid down the pavement. if your below the balance point you gain speed, past you slow a little. that way you know when your doing 100mph wheelies=ga'bage........TED

Dope **** guys. Love all the commentary. Like I said before, it's not in production, so don't get too excited. I'm pitching it to the higher ups, and they're damn slow in making decisions. It looks hopeful, but it's gonna be a long painful process of explaining stuff to them.

In the meantime, I'm trying to get all of the mechanics worked out. I like your guys' comments about controls, other games you like, etc. Teddy B. made a comment about the Hawk balance meter. There will be some mechanic similar to it, but the hawk meter focuses only on balance. This one would have to factor in rider balance, as well as engine, brake and clutch input. So, yeah, it'll be something like that balance meter, but it will take more skill. Unlike the Hawk meter, which gets more unstable over time, when you start mastering wheelies, the meter will be very stable as long as you do everything right. As for the freeway and city stuff, open endedness, exploration and all that. It will be very much GTA inspired. Freeways will be like the HUB of the game. As for sponsorship and shops and such, I'm thinking that later in the game, you will definitely take over a shop or two. At that point, upgrades and repairs will be much cheaper, you'll have a showroom for the bikes you've collected, and you can sponsor your damn self. Anyway, keep the input coming, wish me luck, and I'll be sure to let you guys know if and when it is greenlit.
