It looks like SI has a big following but if you want the *best* cage Tygershark is it. Sick Innovations is good but cant touch Tygershark shark on an F4i. It's worth every cent of the extra money.

Id be willing to put our f4i cage up against it any day. Lets have a crash off!

Send me one of each... I bet I could destroy both of them. My SI has held up way better than the powers I had on my 636. But I still managed to rape my SI cage.

I shot my bike sideways off a 5 foot loading dock and it landed flat on the stator side. Picked it up and tired the trick again, no problems with the bike at all. I think thats the worst thing I've done so far, that and lots of drifting highsides that slam one side of the cage but never roll over. I'll post a clip as to why I think this cage is so good in a bit. There is one top secret advantage to running the tygershark cage that makes a trick that much easier. I just don't know if I want the cat out of the bag, haha.

I'v never personally used a tygershark cage..

but I have heard and read about 2 different people who broke stator covers in 2-3 falls..

Who knows though.. Maybe they had a bad cage, maybe they didn't have the bolts tight..

out practicing in the rain.. slipped. Just above idle.. The bike scraped both sides of the cage, but only tweaked one side. It pretty much saved everything, except a bent clip-on bar. Pegs, levers, and rearsets were all good.

It snapped the all thread that goes throught the swing arm, Maybe it was loose?

I def. plan on replacing it.. And would still recommend an S.I.

Did you have the spacer on the cage? If all your bolts were tight, that cage shouldnt have tweaked from that. Those cages are diesel. Ive wrecked my 05 many times and A.C farias wrecked several times the Stunt Wars week. One of them was a 180 stoppie gone bad and the bike took flight. Nothing happened to the cage.
