Re: ZX-6R 636 owners, IN HERE!

it's sick for stunting just don't drop it much...especially if you hit the upper faring or come down off a high chair hard. the upper faring mount to the frame is plastic. breaks real easy. all the plastics would rather break than bend or scratch hard

exhaust loves to fall off. (rivet the clamp to the can)
other than that it's badass. so far

I got mine yesterday and love it. Slow **** with stock gears are no problem. Lots of power and easy to control.

Great bike, but the upper thing is true, have mine held on with a home made braket that works great now. And they have alot of magnesium parts that like to break. I've gone through a few clipons and am on my third set of pegs. But its an awesome stunt bike.

Re: ZX-6R 636 owners, IN HERE!

pegs and case covers break like nothing...in february of last year, i broke 3 passenger footpeg brackets, pipe side, without crashing...maybe the cold.

i put on woodcraft clipons, rearsets, and casecover and have had NO problems since.

whne doing highchairs i hold my legs up....i dont do highchair endos anymore after watchign WADE from section 518 actually go right THROUGH the upper bc the fairing stay broke.

the vortex aftermarkt fairing stay is for the gauges only stay, and doesnt include a replacement for the plastic.

great bike though. cam chains go rather often though too.

Re: ZX-6R 636 owners, IN HERE!

yep thats what happens everytime i drop it

i drop mine with a cage and still broke the rear set i think its because the pegs dont fold all the way up so now im riding with half pegs on both sides so i dont break anymore rear sets

I was thinking about a 636, but after all this I think I'll stick to the good old F4i I'm still running stock rear sets
