More Stand up help please?

Im getting it up consistently on both front pegs. First gear with clutch only and 2nd gear with a bounce. Trying to overcome fear and hold balance point. My question is, will trying them staggered help in finding the bp or is it just the same feeling of im bout to bust my A$$ as regular standups? And will looking out down the road help in finding bp because i have noticed i look down over the front end the complete time. Thanks

the bp is a little lower when you stagger your pegs i think it helped my find the sweet spot

Re: More Stand up help please?

I've tried it both ways... and I'm far from a pro by any means. But the difference I did notice between them is, when I have both feet on the front pegs, I have to kind of lean back with my body. And it puts a lot more stress on my arms and after 30 seconds I start to get tired. If I can even keep it up that long... It just feels more awkward. When I staggered them it took a lot of pressure off my arms and it just felt a little more comfortable. Might just be me. But I think once you get used to the feeling of bringin it up staggared (I had problems keepin it straight) it's much better that way. Now remember... I still BLOW at doin them.. but I figured I'd throw my .02 in. Good luck

road stain is right, your bp gets a little lower and it takes pressure off your upper body. with both feet on the front, you have more weight going towards the front of the bike, therefore you have to be higher or lean off the bike to get balanced out.

when u get comfy with a BP on a honda it kinda sucks. i allways wanted to have a lower bp so it wouldn't be so scary. but now i do front peg stand ups and i pull the bars into my chest with no leaning back to make my wheelies higher. when i was doing rear sets it felt higher then my reg front peg stand ups but i was at like 9 o clock. o well

Re: More Stand up help please?

staggered comes up much easier and is more comfy cause your basically standing straight up.

On the pegs BP seems like its way the hell back, i find that i ride the longest wheelies ive im kind hanging out behind the bike when i do a normal wheelie. Im tryin to get used to doin them with the windshield in my chest, but they dont ride out as long.

Staggered i have problems with it being wobbely and i find its alittle harder to lock into BP for me.

stagered seems way easyer to me to bring it up and find BP. I also have a harder time keepin it straight though. It seemes that i always go to the left.

its cuz you are putting too much weight on the left peg when you are coming up.
