I am in the process of making custom oil pick ups for any sport bike.
It will feed the engine oil durilng long wheels and also be able to feed the
engine while ride normally.

My 1000 went over 15,000 miles with it stock. Only thing I ever did was change the oil and keep it filled to the top of the site glass. Totalled now but was still going strong with no probs. Lots of hours with the oil light on too. I'm sure the modified pickup would be a good investment though, just to be safe.
