Re: clutch wheelie = burnout
I'd check the condition of the tire too cause I can pretty much clutch a wheelie in sub freezing temperatures on cold tires if they still have tread. It spins at first but catches.
Re: clutch wheelie = burnout
every time i hit the road i feel my tire with my hand, it it doesn't feel warmer then my hand i tuck the bike like a mother ****er at like 5mph and dump that clutch n lay a huge snake line on public roads. i run a michelin take off on the rear, hella sticky and stable tire. i'll never buy a new tire again. only thing bad about the ones i get, they were hella knee dragged and i gotta run 15psi to stay off the side wall, much better then snaking a stand up in my book ya know

yeah i understand the cold thing, but i live in texas and even after i ride around for a while it still spins like a mother F@$^er and its not the tread cuz the tire is basically new so ill try the lean back thing today and then if that doesnt work ill prolly just light up a burnout to see if i get any better results but if yall have any other advice let me know. thanks

Buy a new tire, spend a little cash. I have a bridgestone 020 and i can tank wheelie on cold tires. I hate dunlops. Especially the 207's and 208's. they just came out with a new one that looks sweet but i wouldnt waste your money. Go with a Michelin Pilot or Bridgestone Batalax. Oh and never buy a Perelli for stunting. Thier also crappy tires.

lean back if your sitting down, if your standing give her a lil' bouce as you clutch it. i run my back tires till they fall off, clutching just takes getting used to. once you get it, it wont matter if the tire is bald or even if its cold. and i still consider that tire to have alot of life left on it...
