I run a freestyle cage and its great but my mounts take a beating and its only a matter of time till I have to fix them. The front half of the mount is gone and I have a bolt just bitting enough on the end of it to hold on. I have searched around the site for some info on how to fix a partially cracked motor mount, but have only found people saying to reweld it.

What should I weld? a new chunk of aluminum on to the block and drill and tap it?

If I do that should I grind down the remaing mount or weld on to it?

How can I make the mount stronger so it doesn't break again (i run weak bolts). Some other people have got to have fixed this **** nefore any help would be great
