and for the record: bar tricks ON THE IDLE don't count as tricks-those are the 3triesandimasteredit type tricks ONCE you can put the bike on the bar...

also for the record: many, many, many, many, many people have no handers-they are not the trick of the year like they were back when Chauncey started doing them three years ago...learn to endo, do combos, acrobatics, burnouts!

and for the last record: not hating, i've been keeping an eye on you and your pics/posts-keep it up, you are looking good!!!

enough record keeping,

Teach

ps.

636a is stock front, up 19?? (62teeth)
636b is -1 front, up 8 back

and yes, i like them both

No hatin, but idle is not idle . A bike that is stock geared will for example idle at 2000 rpm at 25mph and let's say the engine will stall at 1000rpm. If you gear that same bike up 10 in the rear it will still idle at the same before stalling but because you are changing the final drive ratio it will be going much slower at the same rpm.

don't even need to say that you're not hatin...believe me i can take constructive crit....BUT, what i meant with idle and gears is that i agree with 3500 rpm idle you will be going faster with stock gears, but you will have more torque with bigger gears, oftentimes making the nose stay up even when you give her too much brake and she starts to come down a bit...so, i do believe we were both right (at least in my mind )

Yeah you are right too, the reason the bike has more torque is because the engine is higher and closer to eats torque peak, which is back to what I was saying. The bike will have the same torque at 3500rpm no matter what speed you are going or what gearing ; Gearing just alows you to be in that rpm range and have that torque at a slower speed.

Actually the mechanical advantage the motor has over the wheel is increased so torque at the wheel is multiplied. That's why the front wheel comes up easier in first than it does in sixth.

Re: What size Sprocket are you running?

My 636 is stock front and up 12 (52) from few days.

It's better for wheelies without rear brake or hand brake but it is too slow for no hand wheelies, I have to move much more on the bike to keep it going ahead, but that's ok, I'll work more !!!
