my buddy had a bent rim and rode it til he sold the bike.i doubt it should be a problem unless you going triple digits or something

 

just dont do anything too crazy or any long riding and u should be ok

 

the front rim of my gixer looks just like that and i dont notice anything. and i ride that thing daily. been doing it all summer.

 

well sometimes when i break at low speeds i feel a lil wobble.

 

i get the same thing but i really dont think its something thats going to be detrimental. helli drag my knee with mine all screwwed up like that.

 

Long as its not leaking air.. does it wobble at high speeds?

 

You Can Take A Lead Hammer And Lightly Bang The Dent Out. Don't Use Heat Cause It Breaks Down The Strengh Of The Metal.

Start Slow Not To Crack It, I Do It To Mine All The Time When I Bend'em.

The Lead Hammer Takes The Beating, Without Leaving Ant Damage To The Wheel...

my bike has a bent/cracked rim and I rode it all summer. I'll probly finally change the wheel (ya I had a spare hte whole time) sometime around christmas

 

no wobble at any higher speeds jsut on low speed braking.

I plan on jsut swapin them out for a set of chrome wheels soon anyways.

 

As long as you aren't leaking air you should be fine

 

rim on my 900rr looks like that and i still come in at 80.....

 

My front rim was bent like that two seperate times like that (from crashing), so bad that it broke the bead. Like some one else said, don't use heat. Just take the wheel off, throw it in a press on its side, and push the lip back into the tire. It's not a good idea to beat on it with a hammer (much more likely to crack). With my fixed rim, I ocassionaly go 150+, and do endos. It just has a slight bounce between 30 and 50.

 

now you can get chrome rims.
