Endo shake/slap

Put about an hour of practice in the other day and ended up in a tank slapper which put my *** on the ground ( while in an endo not wheelie) Wondering if it was just me gettin tired or a possible front tire air pressure concern. never had this prob before but I have noticed the longer I go or the faster I come in I can feel the wobble waiting for me to screw up. well I did and it dont feel to fun anymore so any suggestions on what causes it would be great to avoid it again . come in at 40 mph lift at 35 mph on an gsxr 1000 wobble usually starts at 20 25 mph and then settles

The Scots damper is made for motoX and isn't as good as the others because it's a rotary damper. It's not made for street bikes, and while it will work for the most part, your better off with an Ohlins or GPR damper which are made for street bikes and do not have the dead spots and other problems.

Re: Endo shake/slap

I'm not really concerned with having the "best." As long as I won't get any tankslappers that's all I care about. I like the Scotts for ease of install. My boy rolls looooong *** stoppies with a Scotts on the same bike as me so I know it'll do what I want.

Re: Endo shake/slap

damper or no? i would start there, but you don't need a damper for those speeds..try cracking 2 or 3 gears and immediately going into the stoppie.. :YEAH i pull the brake lightly like a tap to get the shocks to depress then pull smooth on the brake to float the tail up.. if you tap pull then feather you will be smoother picking them up which will eliminate your wobble.. i think you might just need to stay loose and relaxed.. :YEAH :YEAH
