First gear standups...BP? *vid*

Hey, every once in a while I'll nail the 'balance point' and i'll lock in at a constant RPM, but im not very consistant. (and the good ones never seem to be on tape lol) but anyways, Somtimes it comes too far back, then i i chop the throttle and it drops forward, then i gas it and it goes too far back, ect. Im trying to smooth out my throttle inputs, but i have alot of 'drivetrain lash' in my 40k mile F2. Is that one of the problems? Do i just have to practice more to smooth out my throttle. Do you guys 'catch' the bike on the rear brake when it comes up?

Feel free to add your on my wheelies, I've came quite a ways in the short time i've been 'trying' to stunt....now i just gotta start getting **** ironed out.

My form isnt bad though :YEAH

Nice job

Try bringin it up @ a lower speed an get it higher...works for me at least. I haven't got the rear brake down yet(know the concept an how it works, message just gets lost from brain to foot) but I can stick it with throttle control. Need that for highchairs, spreaders, seat standers, etc anyway. Btw, my gixxer has 32k miles on it.

I clutch all of my wheelies. I've been trying to 'learn' the rear brake, i practiced it a little bit by bringing one up, then tapping it to set the tire back down...but thats it. I always end up thinking 'now cover the rear brake on this next wheelie', then totally forgetting about it while im up there lol.

2nd gear comes up if my clutch is cool, i dont have a full tank of gas, and if i bounce the crap out of it.( ) and WOW, its so nice up there in second lol. Not twitchy at all, i just cant consistantly get it up in 2nd so Im trying my best in first....maybe its time to go -1 +2.

somtimes my wheelies get wobbly, or come up all cockeyed, i've been too lazy to check my tire pressure, but I could probly bring it down a little bit.

one more question.....can i go -1 +2 with my stock chain? will the new sprockets eat up the old chain, or vice versa?

You should be good with ur existing chain if you go -1 +2....at least that's what everyone says. Ur chain will form the new sprockets to how it's(chain) worn. Sprockets shouldn't do too much to tha chain. Get the slow **** down pat, then faster will be easy as hell. After awhile of practicing 1st gear, 2nd is a breeze for me
