954/929 MIL light Help.

I can't get the MIL light to clear. is there a trick to it? It goes on due to a IAT sensor under the tank, that rattles loose.

the service manual way is not working for me.

i dont know if it works, but for my VW, if you either unplug the ecu or battery, leave it out for a few minutes, then plug back in, it goes away. if the MIL is just a fluke and this method works then everythings straight, if it clears and comes back, means you got a problem

Naw..that doesn't work. I reset it b4. but have no clue on how it cleared out. Seems like the way in the manual doesn't do it for me. Maybe I should just play with it some more..
