handlebars

have any of you tried turning your clip ons out to make them more straight if so how did it feel im a big guy and tank wheelies are very crammed up for me let me know thanks roabs how hard is it to convert to mx bars?

For clip ons loosen them up turn em out and tighten back up, if they have alighnment tabs grind em off. MX bars are easy to put on, what sucks is that usually some of your cables arent long enought to reach the controls new position, so you gotta buy some shiat to work with........

to put the mx bars on tho what do you modify to make them fit as in brackets?

You have to buy perches that bolt to your triple tree, and then the handlebars bolt to the perches. i think you buy them at mx shops...

quick question for anyone that has pushed out thier stock clip ons...when the bike goes down do you have any problems with the bar hitting before the cage??

Yes, and my bars move in a little, keep them loose so they dont bend and carry the wrench (12mm on mine) to move them back.. I also do this with my levers... which are also precut to snap in strategic places since they are left out there beyond the cage
