12's
Re: 12's
Expect to leave your mark on the street. And not a red plastic mark either, I mean a black oily one. And then I expect an essay of exactly 500 words about how cool you were, and which hoes try to jock you. And then we can all laugh 'with' you about it.

Re: 12's
You can come really far back past the BP and still be safe, just stay on the break. If you are powering real hard under the bp and the bike is still coming up, then when it hits the bp it will shoot back really fast, but it can still be easily saved, and even ridden out. I'de work on clutching it up to/slightly past the bp, and catching it with the breaks so that you don't have to worry about this happening now. It might sound wrong, but it is alot safer and more controlled. People usually think they are alot higher than they really are, but almost anything can be saved with the rear break. Whatever you do, don't get spooked and bail if it comes up higher than you were expecting. I've seen it happen before. Somone will come past the bp a bit, get spooked, and bail on something that could have been easily saved. Good luck, and stay safe!
Re: 12's
watching someone jump off a "" looped "" wheelie and then watching the bike come back down on its own and riding back on 2 wheels while they skid down the road is fawkin crazy! Especially if the tail never even hit!

Re: 12's
If the bike goes past BP you will know because the bike will just start to fall back then all you have to do is close the throtle and tap the rear brake. Gearing the bike could help to, so that you can rock a higher balance point because you would have more ENGINE BRAKE.

Re: 12's
All I wanted to know was what the difference between balance point and beyond balance point feels like so I can be prepared to use the rear brake. Does it fall down like if you were below BP? My wheelies aren't popcan either, and I clutch it up to a bit higher than the picture and adjust my height until I hit BP. I'm still practicing but I won't get back from wisconsin until friday.
Anyway, Brandolb, I don't talk on the phone. So good luck getting me to call you, and I really have no desire to go out and ride with people your age.
