Re: spark plug replacement help

i think you can get to them easier if you pull the tank and airbox off, but i don't rightly know.

Re: spark plug replacement help

If its like every other 4 cylinder, just pull up the gas tank, remove the air bix, use a plug socket and extention. should take about 20 min.

IT'S ALOT EASIER TO YANK THE TANK,AIR BOX SO YOU CAN GET IT FROM UP TOP. THERE SHOULD BE A BAR FROM LFT TO RGHT JUST ABOVE THE AREA YOU NEED TO WORK ON. JUST GET 2 - 2'' 3/8'S EXTENTIONS SO YOU CAN FEED THE FIRST ONE DOWN,THEN SNAP THE SECOND ONE ON TO PUT YOUR RACHET ON. IT'S FUN... TAKE YOUR TIME THAT WAY YOU ONLY DO IT ONCE...

Re: spark plug replacement help

may need a extension with a knuckle in the middle to reach the outer two, i ALMOST need one for my gix, i can barely reach them.
but why would the carbs be in the way? i'm not an expert on hondas but if its like damn near every I4 the plugs should be in the middle of the valve cover and carbs on the rear of the head
