A friend of mine just went up 20 teeth in the back and converted to a 530 setup, but his chain is grinding down the swingarm a bit. I wanted to go 30+ in back with a 530 chain, but I don't want to replace or modify my swingarm, so I was thinking of going down 3 up front and up 22 in back to more or less equal 30+, and hopefully not grind down the swingarm. Does anyone have or know of someone with this setup and know if the swingarm is getting torn up?

 

If he is tearin up the swingarm with +20 im sure +22 will do the same thing, maybe even worse because it is BIGGER

929's have a 530 chain stock.

I had -1 +18 and it still chewed the swingarm a little...does'nt hurt anything.

mine is 10 up and it rubs the swing arm
